Have you or someone else close with your child wondered if your child needs some extra support through speech or occupational therapy services? If you have wondered, but aren't sure contact us and we will determine whether a speech or occupational therapy evaluation is needed.
Speech therapists aim at improving overall communication by addressing delays and disorders in expressive and receptive language. Our trained speech language pathologists help your child with articulation and communication skills (its not just speech but also language, reading, listening, and writing) which can reduce communication frustrations and improve behavior, oral motor concerns, apraxia of speech, social and pragmatic language skills , fluency, swallowing and cognitive skill building.
Occupational therapists are experienced and educated on addressing areas of motor (gross motor and fine motor, coordination etc.), sensory processing and regulating/ modulating (sensory seeking, sensory under-responsive, poor body awareness, building attention, calming body and brain, sleeping challenges or transitions) , handwriting skills, visual motor and visual perceptual skills, self help (improving independence in self care), feeding (picky eating or limited diets), executive function and social skills. An occupational therapist is called an occupational therapist because your child's "occupations" are what make them unique- think of childhood occupations as establishing autonomy, taking care of their own self care needs, playing, engaging, learning, removing barriers, making friends with appropriate social interactions and communication.

Does your child need some extra help with their academic skills? Covid was a challenging time and many students had difficulty with learning through an online forum. OR maybe your child just needs a little one on one experience that they can not get within the classroom environment. Our experienced educator will create an individualized learning experience for your child. Tutoring will help to prepare your child for tests, while working on a specific problem areas. We promote a positive work space while working at your child's pace. We also encourage independence and responsibility as your child will gain the ability to do school work on his or her own, without your help. Your child will realize his or her own personal growth and will learn to take responsibilities for his or her studies. Call for more information.
